概述Summary

ModelSwitch 是一款本地运行的 macOS 开发者工具。开发者不运营该应用的后端服务，不收集 analytics、telemetry、崩溃日志、配置、API key、prompt 或响应内容。 ModelSwitch is a locally running macOS developer tool. The developer operates no backend service for this app and collects no analytics, telemetry, crash logs, configs, API keys, prompts, or response content.

账号Accounts

ModelSwitch 不要求账号登录，不运营云同步或远程配置服务。ModelSwitch requires no account login and runs no cloud sync or remote config service.

本地保存的数据Data stored locally

以下数据仅保存在你本机的 ~/Library/Application Support/ModelSwitch/ 目录：The following data is stored only locally in ~/Library/Application Support/ModelSwitch/:

  • 模型配置与模式配置（用于本地切换）。Model and mode configurations (used for local switching).
  • Claude Code settings 文件的 security-scoped bookmark（用于在 App Sandbox 下再次访问你授权的文件）。A security-scoped bookmark for your Claude Code settings file (to re-access your authorized file under the App Sandbox).
  • settings 备份与切换历史（用于验证和回滚）。Settings backups and switch history (for verification and rollback).
  • Gateway 请求日志，保存在本地 SQLite 数据库，用于查看请求历史、状态码、延迟、token、请求正文与响应正文。Gateway request logs in a local SQLite database, for inspecting request history, status codes, latency, tokens, request bodies, and response bodies.

API key 的保存How API keys are stored

你在应用中填写的 Provider base URL 与 API key 会保存在本机应用数据中。当前版本以本地明文形式保存 API key，请勿在共享设备上使用。模型 API 访问由你与相应模型 Provider 之间的协议约束。 Provider base URLs and API keys you enter are stored in local app data. The current version stores API keys locally in plain text — do not use it on shared devices. Model API access is governed by your agreement with the relevant model provider.

Gateway 模式与第三方 ProviderGateway mode and third-party providers

Gateway 模式会把你的 Claude Code 请求转发到你自行配置的第三方模型 Provider。该 Provider 对请求内容、响应内容和 API key 的处理，受你与该 Provider 的协议和隐私政策约束。ModelSwitch 本身不代表开发者收集这些数据，但会在本地保存 Gateway 请求/响应日志（单条 body 最大约 1 MB）以便调试。若你的请求包含敏感信息，日志也会包含这些信息。 Gateway mode forwards your Claude Code requests to third-party model providers you configure yourself. How those providers handle request content, response content, and API keys is governed by your agreement and their privacy policy. ModelSwitch itself does not collect this data on the developer's behalf, but it stores Gateway request/response logs locally (up to ~1 MB per body) for debugging. If your requests contain sensitive information, the logs will too.

清除数据Deleting your data

你可以删除本机的应用数据目录，或在应用内清除本地配置与日志，以彻底移除本地保存的数据。You can delete the local app data directory, or clear local configs and logs within the app, to fully remove locally stored data.

沙盒与权限Sandbox and permissions

  • 应用仅在用户选择并授权 settings.json 后才会访问该文件。The app accesses settings.json only after you select and authorize it.
  • Gateway 模式的网络请求只发往你在应用中配置的上游 Provider。Gateway network requests go only to the upstream providers you configure in the app.
  • 应用不需要系统级特权、后台常驻 helper、登录项、内核扩展或屏幕录制权限。The app needs no system-level privileges, background helper, login items, kernel extensions, or screen-recording permission.
